Project updates

All updates.

New releases, improvements, and posts, from newest to oldest.

  • Clearer reading and section navigation16 updates

    Clearer reading and section navigation

Stronger article headings, distinct quotations and easier-to-scan author details.

Articles now separate headings, body text and quotations more clearly. Author names, publication dates and reading times have their own labeled groups.

Numbered contents panels make it easier to jump between sections in posts and Minecraft mod guides, with layouts that adapt to phones.

    Clearer code examples

Article examples fit the reading column and use color to make code and equations easier to follow.

Code examples stay aligned with the article text. Long lines scroll inside their own block on phones, and syntax colors are included even without JavaScript.

The DOOM fire article uses color to distinguish numbers and operators. JSON and YAML editors in Utils also use colors that adapt to light and dark themes.

A simpler home for my projects

A shorter introduction, clearer project links and a warm gold welcome.

I’ve refreshed my websites to feel more like one home for the things I make. The homepage has a shorter introduction, simple Projects and Posts sections, and clearer ways to explore. The warm gold b moves gently above the greeting, then joins the name in the navigation as you scroll.

More room for projects and everyday tools

Projects come first, tool settings take less space on phones, and controls stay easier to read.

The homepage places projects before compact links to recent updates. Each update link opens its full dated entry.

JSON, YAML and text tools keep optional settings collapsed on phones with a summary of the current choices. Tool titles have more room, and range values remain visible without hovering.

Sign in uses a quieter style across the websites. Observatorium keeps readable controls over its dark sky when your page theme is light.

A tidier footer and clearer gold signature

Compact social links, simpler cookie access and a sharper scrolling logo.

Social profile icons, including YouTube, now sit in the middle of the footer, using the same color as its text. The name, social icons, page links and Cookie action share one row when space allows, and wrap naturally on smaller screens.

Phone navigation puts the gold mark, Projects, Posts and Sign in on one row when space allows. Enlarged text can wrap without shrinking labels or hiding actions.

The gold b now rests upright with a clearer edge and no surrounding haze. Scrolling brings it smoothly into the navbar, and hovering gently brightens its gold. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.

    Quieter controls, clearer feedback

More consistent spacing, sizing and motion across the websites.

Pages share clearer typography, a dark default theme, more consistent widths and better spacing on phones. Hover effects are quieter, selected options are easier to spot, and fields and buttons line up more naturally. Loading actions keep their labels visible, and loading screens fade into the page. Reduced-motion preferences are respected.

Selected options are easier to recognize, dropdowns have clearer open states, and wrapped labels have room to breathe. Loading buttons keep their labels visible with balanced spacing. Observatorium keeps its quiet circular controls. Footers separate social profiles from page navigation.

    Cookie settings across my websites

One shared analytics choice, with settings available on every site.

Footers now separate social profiles from page navigation, with consistent Privacy, Terms and Cookie settings links. Optional visit analytics now covers public pages across the websites, including Terraria and Observatorium. It starts only with consent; private account details, tool inputs, server connection details and scene interactions are not collected. You can change your choice in Cookie settings.

Observatorium keeps its immersive scene and quiet circular controls. View settings brings together brightness, rendering options and Cookie settings; cookie preferences are also available from the mobile support page.

    Simpler Minecraft and Terraria pages

More personal introductions and consistent layouts as you browse.

Minecraft and Terraria use simpler wording and consistent page widths. Mod browsing, installation instructions and compatibility details are easier to scan. Terraria keeps access status and the next joining step clear, with connection details still private to approved members.

    Clearer cookie and sky settings

Quieter panels, cleaner scrolling and cookie access outside the scene controls.

Cookie settings has a simpler layout with clearer choices. Observatorium’s View settings and About this sky now use the same quieter panel style, with more restrained focus outlines and scrollbars.

In Observatorium, Cookie is available beside the site links at the top of the page, separate from brightness and rendering controls.

Reading guides that stay in place

Clearer selections and less jumping around while exploring a post.

The Mushoku Tensei guide makes the selected episode or novel view easier to spot. Switching views keeps the controls in place. Japanese song titles use a more readable font, and the mobile header leaves more room for the article.

    Clearer previews when you share

Bigger titles, recognizable artwork and a warm gold edge.

Link previews have larger titles, recognizable project artwork and a warm gold bottom edge. Tools, mods and other public pages have relevant cards, while posts keep their authored cover images.

Smoother editors and clearer text comparisons

Choose whether Find matches case, and review changes in a more compact comparison panel.

Find in Utils now includes a Match case option. Turn it off to find the same text regardless of letter case, including in both versions of a text comparison. Tool inputs still stay in your browser.

Editor scrolling does less repeated work, and results keep their space while processing. Text diff groups added, removed, changed and unchanged counts clearly, with Previous and Next controls attached to the comparison.

    Softer motion for the homepage

The gold b now follows a gentler, continuous path.

The gold b gently drifts and leans, with its light moving alongside it. It settles upright as it moves into the navbar, and stays still when reduced motion is enabled.

    Small fixes across Utils

Tidier settings, more readable results and a simpler introduction.

Utils has a simpler introduction and more consistent dropdowns, editor text, settings and result panels. Wrapped labels have more room, authenticator codes are larger, and the time converter’s location picker keeps its spacing when you change selection methods. Tool inputs continue to stay in your browser.

Input and output text is more consistent across formatters and text comparison. Nested result panels avoid repeated decoration, and compact sliders stay steady when you press their controls.

DOOM’s 1995 fire: clever code, tiny budget

How a 1995 console game made fire with a tiny buffer, how reverse engineers recovered the trick, and why its simple math is still worth studying.

Your brain doesn’t hold your relationships. Your memory does.

I started backing up an AI’s memories. Then I began wondering what, exactly, I was afraid of losing.

  • Clearer Terraria connection status

Terraria checks the public game connection before showing joining details, including when a bandwidth limit prevents access.

A running server can still be unreachable from outside. Connection checks now distinguish that situation and hide joining details until a working public connection is confirmed.

Bandwidth limits have a specific explanation. Refresh to request another check; the page shows the age of its last result.

  • Lighter pages on phones

Touch devices use a still star background and immediate page transitions to reduce rendering load.

The portfolio, Utils, Minecraft and Terraria keep their star background still on touch devices. Long pages also open without a full-page fade, reducing the rendering work during scrolling and navigation.

Minecraft screenshots, settings guides and gallery controls remain available. Desktop background motion is unchanged.

  • A cleaner planet for Observatorium2 updates

    A cleaner planet for Observatorium

The Observatorium icon keeps its ringed planet with a simpler, uncluttered surface.

Small surface dots and orbiting moons have been removed from the Observatorium icon on the homepage and All apps. The planet keeps its rings and soft lighting.

The illustration stays still and remains clear in compact app cards.

Easier to scan, clearer to explore

Update previews show a lead headline and count, app links have concise screen-reader names, and post arrows match their destination.

Days with several updates show the first headline and the number of changes. Expand a day on the homepage or All updates to read every change and follow its links.

Utils and Observatorium cards keep their full clickable area. Screen readers identify each link by its Explore label, with the app description available separately. Post links use a right arrow to match navigation within the site.

When support is available, its header button keeps a visible heart and a circular shape with enlarged text.

  • Gaming, together in one place4 updates

    Gaming, together in one place

Minecraft and Terraria now share one Gaming card, with a separate link for each game.

The homepage and All apps now show Utils, Observatorium, then Gaming. The shared description appears once, and each game keeps its own artwork and Explore link.

Game links sit side by side on wider screens and stack when space is limited. Enlarged text stays readable, with artwork moving above the labels where needed.

    Clearer text, simpler interfaces

More consistent text, visible action labels, and steadier feedback across the sites.

Tool headings, code results, menus, and controls now use consistent text styles. Copy, Download, Share, Example, and Reset keep short visible labels where they are the main action.

Loading messages keep the same text size as the surrounding interface. Tool dialogs fit narrow screens more comfortably, Lorem output fills its result panel, and app headers have fewer competing links.

    Minecraft instructions that stay together

Installation numbers, step descriptions, configuration links, and related mods have clearer spacing.

Step numbers now sit beside their instructions without overlapping the title. Each title stays close to its explanation, including when text is enlarged.

Configuration links are grouped together and wrap on narrow screens. Related mod cards have room below their section heading, and configuration cards retain their inner spacing.

The full update history, now in one place

Open an update to read what changed, and browse earlier releases through All updates.

The homepage keeps a short preview. All updates opens the complete history, including earlier app launches and improvements that were missing from the original feed.

Updates expand on the page, so you can read the details before deciding whether to visit an app. Each day has one expandable entry, with its releases and posts grouped together. Open a day to read each change and follow its links.

  • Longer sign-in, updated privacy policy4 updates

    Longer sign-in, updated privacy policy

New sign-ins last up to 90 days, with the duration explained in both policy languages.

The longer duration applies to new sign-ins. Existing sessions keep their original expiry, and you can still sign out from this browser, another listed device, or everywhere.

The English and Indonesian privacy policies now explain the sign-in duration.

    A new Minecraft home

An overview, a dedicated mod collection, and a clearer place for future server news.

Minecraft now has separate Overview, Mods, and Server pages. The mod collection keeps practical setup guides alongside the projects.

The Server page is an introduction to what is planned. It does not announce an available Minecraft server.

A more comfortable way to explore the sky

Clearer Observatorium playback controls and guidance for its desktop experience.

Playback entry, settings, and observation guidance are easier to find. You can adjust the journey without losing sight of the scene.

Frame-rate controls distinguish a chosen target from adaptive browser timing, rather than presenting an estimate as your display’s detected refresh rate.

    A clearer way into Terraria

Dedicated server access, joining instructions, and clearer connection feedback.

The overview leads to a separate server page. New players can read the joining guidance and copy an introduction template; approved players can sign in to view their connection details.

Connection readiness, saved details, refresh progress, and copy feedback are shown separately, so it is easier to tell what is available and what needs attention.

  • Minecraft guides, directly from the game

The four Fabric mods link to their illustrated guides from Mod Menu.

The published patches add direct links to screenshots and configuration guides. Mod Menu remains optional, and existing settings and gameplay defaults are unchanged.

The website now shows ordered gameplay stories, fuller settings explanations, and published release notes beside the download information.

  • A closer look at screenshots5 updates

    A closer look at screenshots

Gameplay galleries open in a consistent viewer with clear fullscreen and original-size controls.

Open an image to inspect it, move between screenshots, or fit it to the screen. Fullscreen keeps the image fitted; original-size zoom is a separate choice.

The same viewer treatment is used where the sites offer image inspection, with touch controls and enlarged text kept usable.

    Clearer Minecraft setup

Installation guides separate single-player, server-hosting, and joining instructions.

Choose the path that matches how you play. Each path explains the relevant Fabric setup and whether the mod belongs on your computer or the server.

Instructions use shorter reading lines and keep release and dependency links beside the relevant step.

    What’s new on the homepage

A Recently updated section brings app releases and new posts together.

The homepage now shows a small selection of recent public changes, with dates and short descriptions.

New posts use their original publication date. Editing an older post does not silently move it to the top of the feed.

    Terraria has landed

A new home for Terraria projects and shared adventures with friends.

The Terraria website introduces the shared world and gives approved players a place to retrieve the current connection details after signing in.

Connection information is shown only to players with access.

    More readable tools

Clearer guidance and better wrapping for tool titles and password choices.

Utility instructions use a consistent compact reading style. Longer titles and visible action labels wrap when text is enlarged.

Password options fit narrower layouts more comfortably, while generated text remains easy to read and copy.

  • Observatorium is open

A quiet desktop journey through stars, dust, and distant worlds.

Explore a continuous celestial scene, change the direction of travel, and adjust its observing controls. The experience runs in your browser without an account.

Observatorium is designed for desktop viewing. Smaller screens show an introduction and the supported-device guidance.

  • See what each Minecraft mod does2 updates

See what each Minecraft mod does

Gameplay images and configuration examples make the mod guides more practical.

Mod pages pair their benefits with captured gameplay situations, so you can see the messages, player-list details, and sleep behavior they describe.

In-game settings examples explain where to customize the experience, alongside compatibility and installation information.

    A fuller Mushoku Tensei companion

The first post now includes an illustrated family explorer and more reading and listening guides.

The essay has expanded with episode, light-novel, and music guides, plus illustrated portraits in the Greyrat family explorer.

The reading layout and explorer controls were refined for smaller screens. The post remains personal commentary, with references alongside the companion material.

  • Mushoku Tensei: Why This Story Stays With Me

My love for Mushoku Tensei, with an episode-to-novel guide, official music links, and an illustrated Greyrat family tree.

  • Clearer time changes around midnight2 updates

    Clearer time changes around midnight

Time conversion keeps date changes visible and preserves unfinished edits.

Destination results show when a conversion falls on the previous or following day. Noon and midnight retain their correct meaning in 12-hour and 24-hour formats.

Incomplete time entries are not silently replaced with fallback values when you adjust the controls.

Share a tool result with a link

Copy, download, and share actions are easier to find across Utils.

Share creates a browser-only link with the tool state in its URL fragment. It does not create a server-stored copy of your input.

Anyone you give the complete link to can read the included content. Use it only for text or settings you intend to share.

  • Sign out a specific device

The account panel lets you review sessions and end one without ending them all.

Choose a listed browser or device to sign it out. Other sessions remain active.

Signing out everywhere remains a separate action with confirmation, so a single-device cleanup does not become a global sign-out.

  • A clear choice about optional analytics2 updates

A clear choice about optional analytics

Choose whether to allow optional site analytics, and revisit the choice from Cookie settings.

The cookie panel offers Accept and Reject. Optional analytics wait for your choice; using the public tools does not require accepting them.

Cookie settings in the footer lets you review the choice later. The privacy policy explains the public-site analytics scope.

A new home for Minecraft mods

Browse the Fabric mod collection with compatibility information and installation help.

The Minecraft website brings the projects together with current release links, supported game versions, and practical setup instructions.

The collection includes Dimension Notifier, Death Respawn Notifier, Improved Sleep, and Sleep Wake-Up Notifier. Download links lead to their published releases.

  • Generate authenticator codes in your browser5 updates

Generate authenticator codes in your browser

Authenticator supports a setup key or a TOTP setup link.

Paste a Base32 setup key or a TOTP setup link to generate a time-based code locally. Setup links fill the account and code settings for you.

The countdown shows when the next code arrives. Your key is handled in the browser; this tool is not a cloud backup for your authenticator.

    Generate passwords locally

Password generator adds adjustable choices and browser-only generation.

Choose the password settings, generate a result, and copy it when ready. Password generation happens in your browser.

Example and reset actions make it easier to explore the controls and return to their defaults.

    Compare two pieces of text

Text diff joins Utils with comparison that runs in your browser.

Paste the original and changed text to inspect their differences. The comparison stays in the browser rather than uploading either document.

It sits alongside the formatting tools, with the same navigation and local-input approach.

    Convert time between places

A new converter supports countries, time zones, and UTC offsets.

Choose source and destination locations, enter a date and time, and inspect the converted result. Search helps find countries, cities, and time zones.

Date and time controls use the same interface as the rest of Utils, with visible explanations for the selected location.

More ways to work with text

Numbered editors, Find, grouped text formats, and more hash choices make Utils easier to use.

The editor tools share line numbers and Find controls, with better handling of long documents and wrapped lines.

Text formatting choices are grouped by purpose, and Hash generator offers additional digest formats while keeping input local.

  • Policies in English and Indonesian

Privacy and terms pages are available in both languages.

Read the privacy policy and terms in English or Indonesian. The pages explain the public sites, account use, and handling of utility input.

Each language has a dedicated page and links to the corresponding translation.

  • A new Bearaujus portfolio3 updates

    A new Bearaujus portfolio

The refreshed site brings projects and personal writing into one home.

The new portfolio introduces Bearaujus through a dark, celestial design, with a directory for apps and a home for personal posts.

The layout adapts to phones and supports reduced motion, while project cards lead directly to the things you can use.

    One account across the sites

Google sign-in brings a shared account experience to the portfolio and Utils.

You can sign in from the account control and return to the page you were using. Account controls are kept consistent across the public apps.

Public reading and browser tools remain available without signing in.

    Utils is open

A browser toolbox for formatting data, transforming text, generating hashes, and creating placeholder text.

JSON, YAML, text, hash, and Lorem workflows are available in one place. You can paste input, open a local file, inspect the output, and copy the result.

Core processing stays in your browser, and the tools do not require an account.
